Swis Data Sharing Agreement

Wage data available through SWIS includes employer and worker names, Social Security numbers, federal and state identification numbers, wage information, and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. This data at the individual level may be used by education and personnel programmes, including ETCs, to meet performance reporting requirements and for authorised evaluation and research purposes. Under WIOA, states are required to use education information and quarterly salary records to measure the performance of the six key and other Title I programs authorized by WIOA, raising complex issues related to data exchange and data protection. This guide provides States with information on the requirements, procedures and options for comparing confidential information on unemployment benefits (UA) from salary records and personal data from VR records and personally identifiable information (PII) from educational records, as well as to protect the confidentiality of the information contained in these records. This MSG tool shows the data reported by VR agencies for the 2017 and 2018 programming years. The tool provides all VR programs with MSG data at national and government levels, while being a resource for PRC public authorities to analyze their MSG data in relation to national tariffs, states and/or similar authorities and a large number of additional possibilities.
